Welcome Back![edit]

I've set your user rights so you shouldn't see the CAPCHA again. --Robkelk (talk) 23:53, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

I just changed your rights[edit]

You now have the ability to undo somebody else's changes by reverting pages to previous versions. Here's hoping you'll never need to. --Robkelk (talk) 13:26, 5 July 2016 (UTC) Me Too!

Thank you for the new categories![edit]

Thanks for adding all of those new categories - that should help people find freebies that they're looking for.

Here's something to consider: When I add categories to index pages, I put a sort key of a single space on the categories so that the indexes are sorted to the start of the category page. It's easy to do - at the end of the category tag, add a pipe character and a space (for example, "Category:Dollygirl| " instead of "Category:Dollygirl") It makes a big difference when a category has a large number of index pages, the way Category:Wardrobe does.

--Robkelk (talk) 12:32, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

Your welcome Rob. But you were the one to identify the subcategories. I just took your idea and applied it. As you know I am a firm believer in auto-generating pages. Keeps you out of trouble but I also know that creating a new page can be a pita.

So what pages do I put the category coding in? Like the Wardrobe page? or on the individual product pages? or the category page? Not clear where this should go. How about an example you can point me to.--Dollygirl (talk) 18:15, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

When in doubt, add the category; we can always figure out what we want later and make changes. We aren't consistent for what we have, too - the rule for "historical" categories like Victorian and Renaissance‎ is to use the most narrow category only (16th century Crossbow Prop has category Renaissance‎ but doesn't have category Historical), but the rule for "wardrobe" categories like Glasses and Jewelry is to use the narrow category and the wider category (DAZ Eastern Dragon Spectacles has category Glasses and category Wardrobe). So we may as well add the categories everywhere that they apply until everybody decides how we want to use them. --Robkelk (talk) 15:25, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

PFDLives is closing[edit]

I'm adding this to the Talk pages of all active users, including myself. Since my Talk page has become the de facto chat page for the wiki, please reply there.

PFDLives has announced that they're most likely closing on August 1: - login required to view

Maybe, if they can get enough donations, they can remain open longer ... but the domain name is only registered until 2018.

This means all of the freebies on will either be moving or disappearing. (Some of those freebies are listed here, but not all of them.)

Please, spread the word about this ... and help ensure that any freebie not behind a login is saved in the Wayback Machine.

--Robkelk (talk) 12:55, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for all the images![edit]

Thank you for all of the images you uploaded last weekend! Another batch that size and we'll rank eighth by number of images on the list of wikis at Miraheze.

I do appreciate the work you put into this, even if I don't say so very often.

--Robkelk (talk) 16:20, 1 August 2017 (UTC)

DynamicPageList3 has been installed[edit]

Have fun with the multi-category search! --Robkelk (talk) 13:53, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Thank you I will!--Dollygirl (talk) 16:43, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

It works!!!!! Yeah I have a sample on my sandbox page. The list starts off with a page that has not been created, Template:Extension DPL, is there a reason for this? Now to see if I can make a page that allows you to fill in the boxes to get a list of possible pages that are of interest. Thank you very much for getting the capability. I think it will enhance the user's experience with feature. --Dollygirl (talk) 17:23, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi Dollygirl, I toyed around with this a while today, see: I was able to get a hair table (the middle table) that was the "AND" (or intersect) of Hair and Dawn (as a test) but there were two issues: (1) Since the description of the page is just tacked on after the Freebiebox and not indicated by a "Chapter" or heading, I could not get the description to be included cleanly as a table cell. This is not the end of the world, but maybe the Description should start having a heading, so that it can be called out dynamically? (2) There are a lot of Hairs on the Dawn/Hair page that are NOT part of the Dawn category. Since they were added manually to the Dawn/Hair page, as a Re-FIT, per the wording on the page. This means the "intersect" or "AND" of the two categories is less complete than the Dawn/Hair page itself. So instead of doing that, I needed to start with the Category of Hair and "intersect it with the "linksfrom=Dawn/Hair", which worked, but something to be aware of... --3doutlaw (talk) 19:02, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi folks! We could (and probably should) add Category:Dawn to those pages. --Robkelk (talk) 21:15, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

A barnstar for you![edit]

Special Barnstar Hires.png The Special Barnstar
For repeatedly being the voice of reason when I need to make decisions. Robkelk (talk) 20:01, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Thank you Rob. It truly is your vision that controls my words. Years of having to complete large projects makes you learn the importance of keeping the focus on the task and making sure people remember where they want to go. Makes it easy when the project is one you believe in.--Dollygirl (talk) 20:22, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Thank you and I hope you don't mind[edit]

First: a very big Thank You! for creating all those pages for the Fantasy creatures. I hope you don't mind, but I edited some to have the same formatting as the other pages on the wiki. ";" for the name of the resource and ":" for the links. Forgive me? Kerya (talk) 08:42, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

Nothing to forgive Kerya. I get lazy and rum dummy after doing page after page. So I do not pay attention of detail like I should. You and Glaseye cleaning up my messes is much appreciated. I learned my lesson a long time ago that I am not perfect and ownership is not mine to claim. So all is cool. I just regret you had to make the changes. --Dollygirl (talk) 16:05, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Thank you! And you definitely are NOT lazy. Kerya (talk) 08:08, 30 September 2018 (UTC)

Thank you so much for taking the time[edit]

To add all those categories to the uploaded pictures! Kerya (talk) 08:40, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Which character?[edit]

Sorry, do you remember which character you used for ? Kerya (talk) 13:48, 25 March 2020 (UTC) No sorry necessary Kerya, yes I do, she is one of my favorites. Yarishan (V3) by dreampaint You can see the promo here: Sadly his site is no longer active and he had a robot.txt in place so no zips were saved in Wayback. Do you have her? --Dollygirl (talk) 14:04, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Thank you, yes I do have her! Sometimes hoarding stuff is good! LOL Kerya (talk) 14:56, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Oh good, she is a beautiful character.

"Sometimes hoarding stuff is good!" Now that is truth but I much rather say "collecting". I just wish I was more diligent. At least for dreampaint I have all of his files. I started to "collect" a site's whole offering just to not feel bad about losing something that I probably would not ever use. Go figure. My loss of my hard drive in 2016 just made the need to "collect" more intense. --Dollygirl (talk) 15:23, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Ouch! Loosing a hard drive ... which is why I have two external hard drives with the same content ... Kerya (talk) 06:38, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Well, this is awkward...[edit]

Thanks again for volunteering to supply a GC for this year's Image Creation Party! Thing is, your name was pulled out of the hat... Can I trust you to buy a GC for yourself? <grin> --Robkelk (talk) 13:45, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

I did a random drawing and came up with DivaMakeup as the real owner of my gift card.I took out all of images generated by Kerya and me. There were a total of 39 images left I pulled a number 8 and that was DivaMakeup's image So can you change out my image for hers and we should be good.--Dollygirl (talk) 14:14, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Sure, that works. Can I leave it in your hands to contact DivaMakeup directly? --Robkelk (talk) 17:26, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
I will.--Dollygirl (talk) 03:53, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

"Moderation" of posts - anti-spam[edit]

Hi Dollygirl!

You probably already notice the site message at the top of the page. I've given you Moderator rights - edits and image uploads from anybody who hasn't edited enough to be autopatrolled will show up at Special:Moderation instead of on the actual wiki pages until a moderator (you, Kerya, or me) approves them.

We don't get very many edits from people who haven't been autopatrolled, so this shouldn't be too much work.

--Robkelk (talk) 18:16, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Okay Rob, I have added the page review to my sandbox and will add the check to my routine each day. Oh and your welcome on the thank. --Dollygirl (talk) 19:06, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your edits[edit]

Thank you for editing all those Dodger pages! I am afraid I edited one again, because the Downloads at Vanishingpoint are going to threednd, which doesn't exist anymore. Sniff. --Kerya (talk) 06:32, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

I found out that some of Dodger's creations at Vanishingpoint are actually downloadable from Vanishingpoint ... I went through all links, everything should be correct now. --Kerya (talk) 13:01, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you Kerya for the help on the pages. Yesterday when I tried some of the wayback links it led me to GoDaddy which said the files were not available. Stupid me did not check all of the captures to see if there were some real download links so I am very glad that you were more diligent then me and now we have most of Dodger's stuff back on line. Yes it is very sad about loosing websites. I am still working on Cho's stuff. Have not heard back from her and her site is still down. She has hundreds of files. Oh boy!--Dollygirl (talk) 19:57, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
No problem, I had a bit of time and this was a mindless task (good for me at the moment, private problems). Go to , click on each zip and look which ones are downloading. --Kerya (talk) 08:31, 14 March 2021 (UTC)

Highlighting images in dpl lists[edit]

I've been playing with some possibilities, and might have something we can use - or might not. It'll take me a bit more work to see whether the solution will work... --Robkelk (talk) 16:55, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

How exciting would really make the site be very sophisticated if we can pull this little enhancement off! Thank you for working one this Rob.--Dollygirl (talk) 20:00, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
I finally have something. {{highlight|this text}} results in this text. The highlighting carries over to DPL results if the highlight is applied to something in a freebiebox. The downside is that you have to apply it to everything that you want highlighted. --Robkelk (talk) 20:03, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
I tried today to get the title from the freebie box to come over highlighted but it did not work. I changed the Pocket Pets - Kitty page title to highlighted and then I changed the dpl statement on the AnimalsGallery-Cats page to display the title under the image. The dpl did not pass the highlight feature through. The title came through but not the background color. I used %TITLE% as the parameter maybe I need to use a different one that will carry through the highlight condition. This is what I used to get the Title to show up «gallery»,\n:File:,¦link=[[%PAGE%¦%TITLE%]]¦%TITLE%\n,\n«/gallery» I added ¦%TITLE% right after the right square brackets. Did some research and found that you can change the color of the text but in our case we would need an if statement that would change the color of the caption. That is way above my pay grade. Thanks for trying I will keep trying things might surprise myself and figure out the syntax --Dollygirl (talk) 23:07, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
You mean something like this? |format=«gallery»,\n:File:,¦link=[[%PAGE%¦%TITLE%]]¦{{highlight|%TITLE%}}\n,\n«/gallery» It did highlight the titles under the images in the gallery-list; didn't save the change in case this is not what you were looking for.... --Glaseye (talk) 15:58, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
Yes but it must be conditional I only want the No Longer Available products to be highlighted and nothing else. Got any ideas on how to insert a conditional statement in the gallery format line?--Dollygirl (talk) 17:08, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
Looked at the variables/parameters/conditional logic setings for miraheze, but no, I didn't find anything (that I did understand) helpful there.... LoL.. --Glaseye (talk) 19:11, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your renders[edit]

Thank you for your renders! I am sorry, but can you remove the category "Ahtlonx-Nela.png" from For whatever reason I could (but will not) remove the other categories, but not that one. --Kerya (talk) 05:40, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Sorry, I found the way to remove it by editing the whole page. --Kerya (talk) 06:10, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
