G2F Pose Transfer To G8F Script is a utility script created by richardandtracy.
This is DAZ Studio script to take a pose that has been applied to a G2F Character and transfer it to a G8F character. It means you can re-use existing poses languishing in the content library with a more recent character.
To operate, load in G2F, apply the pose you want to transfer. Then load G8F, and run the script. As with Richardandtracy's other pose transfer scripts, you will need to select G8F's hip and also G2F's hip. Having done that, press the 'Accept' button and G8F will take a pose close to the G2F pose. It won't be exact, as the script can't get around all the figure generational differences. The pose should need not much more tweaking than if you applied a G8F base pose to a G8F character. This pose transfer script adjusts all the limbs & digits, eyes, pectorals and lower jaw. It does not transfer across any more of the face rig to the G8F character as the two face rigs don't seem very compatible with each other - eg the default G2F tongue position is out of limits for G8F.
