Quoting from Wikipedia:

The Vought F-8 Crusader (originally F8U) is a single-engine, supersonic, carrier-based air superiority jet aircraft built by Vought for the United States Navy and Marine Corps (replacing the Vought F7U Cutlass), and for the French Navy.

This 3D model (a bit of a mix between a figure and a prop) of the Vought F-8 Crusader has created by Pedro Caparros. It has poses for wing variants, options for landing gear, canopy and arresting hook. With 2 textures: US Navy and French Navy (Marine).

Editor's note, You can load the model 'as is' in DS, but reloading a saved scene may not work properly (missing wing parts). If you want to use this model succesfully in DS, you have to basically 'rebuild' the model in DS by importing the various object files, parent them together and save again as a scene-subset.

If you experience missing landing gear door parts in Poser you can repair it by:
  1. from the list of props delete F8_Air
  2. Import F8_Air.obj from the geometries folder (100% of orig, size - uncheck 'Centered')
  3. Parent F8_Air to F8_Crusader
  4. apply the desired materials from pose presets
